Brighton’s Best New restaurant

After opening its doors in early may 2018, Tinto Taperia hit the ground running with a summer that will live long in the memory. The scorching sunshine day after day was the perfect back-drop to the launch of this wonderful Spanish restaurant. Serving paella and tapas on its terrace until the late hours really captured an essence of Spain.

Walking into the Tinto Taperia on a Saturday night your instantly swept up into the atmosphere of the restaurant, with every table taken and the smell of tapas filling the air it transports you to times on sunnier shores.

The menu is broken down into two parts, paella and tapas. The range of wonderful paellas on offer is enough to fill any foodie with joy. The paella’s range from Paella De Marisco to Paella Valenciana and everything in between.. oh and they do not disappoint, truly delicious. On the tapas section you’ll find all the classic tapas dishes such as; gambas pil pil, Calamares, tortilla espanola and patatas bravas but it doesn’t stop there, to accompany the classic dishes you’ll find an array of gorgeous tapas that have been put together in house by the head chef! Tinto Taperia is heavily influenced by the northern cuisines of Spain such as Bilbao and the surrounding areas, this inspiration comes across beautifully in the flavours you get from each dish!

Tinto Taperia isn’t just a restaurant with great food, like all great restaurants its the staff that make the restaurant so special. The moment you step through the door you are met with a warm welcome. When served you’re met with by an upbeat, enthusiastic and knowledgeable waiter/waitress who are happy to help you navigate through the menu and the vast Spanish styled drinks on offer.
